1984 - Randy Piper "Pipes" Guitar. Since everyone was calling Randy Piper “Pipes,” he figured it was time to have a guitar to reflect that. It’s a twisted creation of three exhaust pipes, painted in pearly colors, creating a realistic, 3D effect. Piper often played this guitar while wearing a custom set of smoking shoulder pipes. The shoulder pipes contained smoke canisters that burned in every color, reinforcing the heavy metal theme. You can see Piper played The Pipes in the video Live at the Lyceum in London and W.A.S.P. – Randy Piper Smokes Irvine Meadows Amphitheater.
SKULL & CROSSBONES
1983 - Randy Piper Skull and Crossbones Guitar. It features the eerie design of a skull and crossbones three times the size of the actual guitar with parts deliberately missing, and a large, bloody splatter. Piper plays The Skull and Crossbones guitar in the MTV videos Love Machine and I Wanna Be Somebody.
1983 - Randy Piper Rivet Guitar. The Rivet followed close behind The Skull and Crossbones. It features numerous nuts, bolts and chains, symbolic of heavy metal. Piper played The Rivet in the 1984 movie, The Dungeonmaster (Ragewar -- "Tormentor").
